Why King James ONLY? We are warned THREE times in the bible not to add to or subtract from the word of God:
- Deuteronomy 4:2 “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neiter shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.”
- Proverbs 30:6 “Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”
- Revelations 22:18-19 “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
And for those who think that they just can’t understand all those “thee’s and thou’s”, standardized testing has proven that the Authorized King James Version is written on a fifth grade level, and the only thing that should keep it from being understood is not knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, as is told to us in I Corinthians 2:14, “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
